When our community experienced tragedies we all got together and helped people in need. But the tsunami catastrophe is the biggest ever, and has touched everybody’s heart. The death toll is getting bigger by the minute. Thus, let’s get together as a family and donate any amount to these people in need, let us also teach our children to give, and show them how to make a difference. It is humanitarian to help others. Now is the time.

We at Albanian American Women’s Organization (AAWO) in New York are deeply moved by this tragedy and wish to help South Asian women and children in need. Therefore, we would like to call upon all our friends, supporters and community members to make a donation to the tsunami victims through our tragedy fund.

Despite the fact that AAWO’s mission is to lift the spirit and the status of women in our community and help them integrate faster in the life style in the United States, we do not miss an opportunity to help mothers and children in need where ever they live.
Hence, let us now join all the other organizations that support South Asian people in need and show our solidarity and compassion.

Please keep in mind that all contributions made to the Albanian American Women's Organization and the "Tragedy Fund" are TAX DEDUCTABLE.
