EVENT: Healing through the Sounds of Song
DATE: June 8, 2003
LOCATION: St. Paul’s Church - Rochester, MI
DETAILS: In collaboration with the Albanian community in Detroit AAWO held a fundraising event to help the orphans of Krusha e Vogel, in Kosova. Hundreds of people filled the church and together rejoiced in the sounds of the songs from the homeland sung by Sebahate Bërlajolli, Mithat Salihu-Kino, Morena Reka, Fran Gjokaj, Ilber Elezi, Pajazit Murtishi, and Marie Dushaj. |
