DETAILS: Refugee Women’s Network (RWN), a national organization, held its sixth annual leadership conference. In attendance were hundreds of women from diverse backgrounds and nations. Dressed in their national costumes, sharing their stories, songs and traditions, the conference participants attended a variety of workshops that facilitate the exploration of interests and talents as well as opportunities to network and collaborate. Twelve AAWO board members attended the RWN Conference for the first time and were proud to share with the rest of the women the success of AAWO’s growth.
