EVENT: Sharing the Pain with Refugees
DATE: May 21st, 1999
LOCATION: Tirana, Albania
DETAILS: AAWO in Collaboration with Women’s Commission for Refugee Women and Children, appointed Shqipe Malushi to bring funds to the Kosovar Refugees in Albania. Shqipe Malushi spent seven inseparable weeks from the refugees. She provided information of refugees about their rights, organized events for children and women where they could share poetry, songs and stories. She also provided medical and financial assistance in collaboration with many other organizations on the field |
