EVENT: Friendship, Unity & Hope

LOCATION: St. Paul and St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church - New York, NY
DETAILS: AAWO invited the Albanian American community to a presentation of 3 documentary films about the tragic events in the homeland. The films were directed and produced by “Motrat Qiriazi” in Kosova. The guests of the evening were: Safete Rugova and Kumrije Hoxha, activists of “MQ” Kosova, and a renown writers and poets among them Agim Vinca. The goal of this event was to share AAWO’s accomplishments and announce new elections as well as raise funds to assist women and children in Kosova. |
