EVENT: AAWO New Elections
DATE: November 11, 1998
LOCATION: Arte Restaurant - New York, NY
DETAILS: AAWO gathered together many activists and supporters. New elections took place and Dr. Anna Kohen was elected a new President of AAWO. Delina Fico was elected a secretary, Dallandyshe Dougherty assistant secretary. Arta Pllana, Treasurer, Fikreta Memeti, Lumi Hadri, Albana Erbeli, Betsy Shuki, Shqipe Biba and Lule Pula remained on the board of special events direction. Sabrije Lika served as a consultant while Lirije Erbeli and Leunora Abdullai continued to serve as directors for education. Lumnie Borici became Editor of Shpresa Magazine and the Kids Planet. |
